A New Siemens Seminar successfully held in Kunming

Mar. 31, 2009, a new round of Siemens Senior Seminar on S7-300/400/ET 200/Industrial Software/Network Products kicked off in Kunming. After the MiniVan tour and SIMATIC Top Engineer Forum in the last fiscal year, this seminar aimed at helping Chinese customers know more about the application of Siemens high end PLC and network products, in particular, technical innovation and application skills of PROFINET products and network technology. This seminar will last for more than 3 months and will be held across 5 districts in 17 cities and regions, including Kunming, Changsha, Nanchang, Beijing, Taiyuan, Fuzhou, Shenzhen, etc. 5 sets of TIA demo case and 2 sets of network switch will be provided as customers’ experimental equipment.
In Kunming, the first stop, over 40 clients from metallurgy, logistics, tobacco and metallurgy attended the two-day seminar. First of all, Mr. Wang Changmin, Manager of Kunming Office, IA&DT, SLC, delivered the opening speech and technical staff from Automation System Division and SC IC Network Division presented the latest products, technology and application.
After that, senior engineers from customer support center and SC IC introduced the application of Siemens high end product PLC and Scalance network products in detail, with a focus on advanced application of PROFIBUS and PROFINET network, including composition of PROFINET network, DP and Ethernet communication between PLC, PROFINET IO and CBA, Step7 SCL, Graph and HiGraph application. Moreover, customers could make full use of TIA equipment and do experiment to get better command of the knowledge they learned.
The last part of the seminar is a Q&A session. Engineers answered customers’ questions and provided solutions for their problems, which livened up the atmosphere and further deepened customers’ understanding of high end product PLC and network products.
The Senior Seminar on Siemens S7-300/400/ET 200/Industrial Software/Network Products will continue in all 5 sales regions across China and more engineers are welcome to participate in it.
