Motion controller has sequence control

The Yaskawa Electric motion controller MP2300Siec offers PLC sequence control and different motion control functions on a single platform.

The controller is based on the programming standard IEC 61131-3.

Its motion-control functions range from precise positioning and control of speed and torque, to phase control and electronic camming.

The MP2300Siec is suitable for the food, printing, packaging and textile industries, as well as for industrial assembly and handling.

It is based on the control system MotionWorks IEC that is fully compatible with IEC 61131-3.

The controller meets the PLCopen standard and offers a wide range of function blocks.

It supports Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP and Mechatrolink-II for machines with up to 16 servo axes - for example, the rotary, linear or direct drives of the Yaskawa Sigma V and Sigma II series.

Its integrated high-speed network connection Mechatrolink-II offers effective integration of both motion and I/O functions.

All models are equipped with an OPC server for easy data transfer.

In addition, the new motion controller offers the user a selection of nine optional modules with many different analogue and digital inputs and outputs, and a master encoder.

A diagnostic function is available via an integrated web server, facilitating remote maintenance without specialised software.

The control system MotionWorks IEC is supplied in German, Italian, English, French and Spanish.
