Urgent Service in Urumchi

On Jul. 9th, Urumchi BaYi Steel Ltd. applied for urgent service of SIEMENS Master Drives. The stop of production and commissioning will bring loss to the customer for every second. But the case was just in the period of Urumchi July 5th Affair that was in forbidden on-site service period in that area. After the active negotiation between IA&DT management and SFAE service department, the company decided to send engineers to Urumchi finally for field service. This hard decision is based on SFAE value that benefit of our customers will always come to the first.

Because of the special time, company need to take all responsibility of staff’s security especially. After many rounds of negotiation among all related parties such as Siemens security department, relative colleagues from headquarter, business unit and SFAE service department. Finally, Mr. Xu Feng was assigned to Urumchi for on-site service, of course was accompanied by our customer from beginning to the end. During the service time, all related parties was kept paying close attention to the engineer’s security and service progress.

On July 11th, 2009, the machines were successfully repaired after 17 hours continuous hard work. It ensures customers’ production and commissioning go back to normal running. Meanwhile, Mr. Xu Feng, the service engineer returned to office safely on July 14, 2009.

The successful execution of this service case brought glory to Siemens reputation. After finish of the case, Urumchi BaYi Steel Ltd. sent the thanks letter to us, and gave highly appreciation to Siemens’s customer care under the special condition. Also they expressed their satisfaction to our efficient service and support. At the same time, IA&DT SVP Mr.Wang Haibin, LD BU Mr.Fu Qiang and sales from BU expressed their thankfulness to SFAE for our customer-orientated spirit and the joint effort on team work. We believe that our business will get better and better because of our wonderful team.
