What’s the feature of SGT linear slider?

The SGT range of linear sliders from Yaskawa Electric Europe is designed to reduce the work and unknown costs often involved in implementing linear motor technology into automation machines.

The SGT linear slider is offered in three frame sizes with travel lengths from 50mm to 2,100mm and options for a 230V single-phase motor coil producing forces from 80N to 560N and a 400V three-phase motor coil producing forces from 80N to 1,200N.

There are also a number of options for encoder feedback, allowing for repeatability and accuracy to meet applications for precision and general automation requirements.

The sliders feature a fully enclosed construction that avoids parts falling into the magnet and bearing area and offers an IP67 version for applications where liquids such as printing ink or water are being used.

Yaskawa linear sliders can also be offered in multi-axis configurations such as X-Y tables and X-Y-Z gantry systems with engineered bases and cable management.

Another key feature of the SGT linear slider is the connectivity with the Yaskawa Sigma-5 servopack.

Automatic drive setup when connected to the slider and the advanced self-tuning functions of the Sigma-5 mean that the SGT linear stage can be up and running with little effort.
