Contract signed during CHNECE to make the Beilun District Government Office Building a “Green” landmark in Ningbo

At the 2009 China (Ningbo) Energy Conservation & Environmental Technology and Products Expo (CHNECE) on Jun. 19, Siemens opened a joint booth together with SUPCON, a high-tech Chinese company with core competence in energy audit, to display the company’s strong “green” portfolio in addressing the global challenge of climate change and fast urbanization. Meanwhile, Siemens and SUPCON also signed a contract with Ningbo Beilun District Government during CHNECE for an energy-saving renovation project of the Beilun District Government Office Building. The project aims to make the building a new “green” landmark in Ningbo by reducing at least 13 percent energy consumption per year after renovation.
